Christianity & Mentoring Sessions

We are occasionally asked by parents whether they need to attend a church in order to apply for sessions with us or if the sessions contain any Christian content or even "proselytizing" (trying to convert people to a belief). JAC mentoring is available to anyone and everyone, there are no pre-requirements to be able to attend, we take young people from any county, faith or background. There is also no Christian content in the sessions we conduct with young people, nor any attempt to convince them of religious beliefs. The purpose of the sessions are to mentor the young people and help them to make their own positive choices in life, not convince them of our choices.

We are however a staff of Christians and our faith is our motivation for helping the young people. We believe that God cares for all the children and so should we. We support our work in prayer each day.

  • Christianity & Mentoring Sessions

We don't include Christian content in our sessions, we are here to help the young people, not convince them of any religious views. Our faith though is what motivates us to help the young people and our community.

  • Council contracts

We are currently operating under "approved service provider" contracts from Bracknell and Wokingham.

JAC began in 1998 as detatched work on the streets of Woodley. Our founders saw a need to be where the young people were and so took to the streets to find them and create a connection by meeting them as they were.
