We are JAC (Just Around The Corner), a Christian charity based near Wokingham in Berkshire, set in 15 acres of stunning English countryside. Founded in 1998, we are a unique centre providing personal learning and development therapies for children and young people. We are proud to have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services. The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award; it is the MBE for volunteer groups.

Our Mission Statement:

To walk alongside young people and families, showing love and acceptance according to Christian principles, encouraging brave and positive choices.

Employing a blend of therapeutic models, including Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), we have helped enhance and inspire the lives of thousands of people through our unique blend of activities.

Whilst offering a range of hands on activities including: arts, crafts, music, carpentry, mechanics, horticulture and pottery; we are probably best known for our work with horses. The JAC stables are home to eight talented and very special ‘equine experts’. Using the EAGALA model, we practice a unique, and hugely successful, style of Equine Assisted Therapeutic Learning & Development.

Younger participants, through one-to-one EAL sessions, learn to: develop confidence and self-esteem, overcome fears, explore body language and behaviour, understand relationships and boundaries, set and work towards personal goals and raise self-worth.

For our Corporate Participants, through our sister organisation IPC, we devise and deliver professional experiential Programmes that inspire and instil positive and palpable change.

my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me'
