Due to continued high demand for our services referrals submitted during the term will go onto our waiting list for next term onwards. See our referrals page for details of our programmes and how to refer.

It is worth referring early, as we process our waiting list in order. Once a referral is made, we generally offer a taster session to get to know the young person and to assess how best we can place them.

Robotics and Computers

For young people who enjoy modern technology. Young people will learn how to program robots while at the same time build a relationship with their mentor and potentially open up about their emotions. The content will be designed based on the age and experience and interests of the student to ensure success.

JAC in a Box Training Hub

Using the JAC in a Box shop in Wokingham we offer training opportunities for young people who would like to access the job market but need to build skills or confidence before doing so.

JAC in a Box - Retail Placement

A retail community shop within the Wokingham town centre that provides opportunities for vulnerable young people to learn and practice work-related skills providing a stepping stone between school and employment.

JAC Canada

Just Around the Corner (JAC) Canada is a non-profit agency which is a branch of its parent organization “Just Around the Corner (JAC)” in the United Kingdom. JAC Canada is a project proposed for the city of Brampton to contribute to the wellbeing of its youth and the overall safety & development of its community by doing Detached Youth Work.
Finding the right nurturing environment was the top priority.
