Mentoring helps young people set and work towards personal goals, develop confidence and overcome fears, as well as developing problem solving skills. Young people will learn how to program robots while at the same time build a relationship with their mentor and potentially open up about their emotions. Our programme explores identity, family history, dreams, goals, friendships, communication, boundaries and other areas tailored to individual needs.

Robotics and Computers is suitable for young people may be struggling in the educational or home setting due to behavioural, emotional, social and or learning difficulties / disabilities.

Our Mentoring approach is a relational one, working with young people where they are at, but also offering high challenge and high support.

Our Mentoring Programmes explore young people’s identity, traits and characteristics, hopes, dreams, goal setting, confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, friendships, communication and body language, anger etc.

Young people are referred to this programme from Social Services, Schools, Local Education Authorities, Pupil Referral Units, Youth Services and Parents. We can work with young people in small groups, if appropriate, but most of our work is 1-1.
